This piece grew from one of my lighthouse photographs, but I wanted to take it in a different direction — more painterly, more rustic. The little cottages along the shore with boats tied nearby felt like a story waiting to be told. I love how the warm autumn colors play against the cool blues of the water and sky — it’s one of those scenes that feels both quiet and alive at the same time.
